Its a good thing Southern California house's don't have basements .. they would all get flooded when it rains for a week! This is the side of our house. They say sun for tomorrow, but more rain by next week again :(

Oh my!! You're right, you're lucky you don't have a basement... I cringe just thinking about it! My basement flooding is on eof my biggest fears!
Yuck, I hate rain! We've had our basement flood quite a few times and it is definitely no fun. Be glad you don't have one LOL
You are just in training for if you ever move to the UK!!! lol
